網で作られた船形の作品を屋外の排水溝の上に設置しました。船の形をしているが船の機能を持たず、本来浮かぶはずの水面を持たず、それでいて水を通してしまう。しかし、そこに視覚に誘発されて実態のない水面が現れる。作品に実際に起こる現象と架空の水面を通して、認知の境界とその変化がそこに現れるのです。

A ship-shaped work made of net was installed over an outdoor drainage ditch. Although it has the shape of a boat, it does not have the function of a boat, and it does not have the water surface that it is supposed to float on, and yet it allows water to pass through it. However, a water surface with no substance appears, triggered by the visual sense. Through the phenomena that actually occur in the work and the imaginary water surface, the boundary of perception and its change appear there.
